where does the negative cable go?
The negative cable got disconnected somehow and I do not know where it goes. I know the cable connects in two places, the radiator support, but i dont know where the other end goes. The Haynes manual says that it goes to the transaxle but the book shows the diagram for the v6 and not for my 4 cylinder. The v6's battery is located on the right side. any help would be great. ive been staring into the engine bay for hours trying to find where it connects to.
sorry if this has already been asked, i've looked but couldnt find anything. i guess this is the ultimate noob question.

And then the noob mistake, what year is this?
So a general answer, there should be two places (beside the battery) it connects to the car. On will be kind on on the body below the battery, then another on the trans case....best I can do with the information given.

don't be so harsh on the noob! he posted for this generation of accord, so we'll estimate it to be the 1994-1997 category...
I've looked at a 1995 model, but it should be similar...
yes the other part of the - battery cable is routed down to the transmission case
locate that yellow loop/ dipstick on the transmission
(standing in front of the bumper & your battery is right behind the passenger light)
I'm going to clock it at around 7-8 o clock and you should see a bolt/tab there
hope that helps!
