skunk 2 coilovers help

I need help not sure what to do. The lock rings on the rear look like they are stuck together. Been trying to loosen it but nothing is working. Any advice/help? Thanks

Try some wd40 and hitting it with a flathead and hammer if you haven't tried that yet

Definitely tried this haha. A friend told me to decompress the coils by pushing upwards with a pole or something.

Jack the car up, and hit the upper ring as if it is going upwards (raising the car) this will then leave a gap for you to knock the lower ring up, clean the threads out, then spin it back down.
