hey guys we are going trade in the '03 Acura TL for an 07 Odyssey. What are the buggaboos on these vans? Are there problems with transmissions? We had the trans rebuilt on the TL and I dont want problems like that with the van!

Transmissions and power steering are both known to have issues. If you get one that's no longer under warranty, make sure the power steering TSB has been done.

As you prolly already know having owned a V6 Honda, Odysseys are plagued by tranny problems as well. I bought my '07 used and had the tranny fluid changed at 67,000 kms which is well under the recommended interval. There were already quite a few shavings on the magnetic drain plug. I personally run Redline ATF in mine and change it out ever 20,000 kms or so for peace of mind. Haven't had issues with it yet, it shifts silky smooth.

I've had mine for about 20 months, its been completely trouble free so far.
