I apologize if I missed an official "stolen car" thread. My girlfriends 93 Prelude was stolen today from behind my condo in West Covina, California (LA County). It's got an Arizona license plate (ARV 3296). Some specifics about the car:

-Apexi catback
-DC Sports header
-Canadian spec Si wheels with red on the inside of the spokes (see pics)
-CV Racing sticker on passenger side back window

yes, i have full coverage, free rental car for 30 days, and custom parts coverage. Ide much rather just have my car back though. vin # JHMBB2257PC012063 and yeah, the red painted wheels, clear turn signals up front, mishimoto radiator and tranny cooler, bilstein shocks, eibach springs, red NGK plug wires n dist. AEM v2 cai, red top battery, DC sport header, APEXi N1 catback, rear windows tinted. yokohama rubber, lil stuffed doggies inside too oh, and older Alpine deck, pioneer speakers and Crunch amp in trunk. has Arizona plates, ARV 3296, though ide guess theyve been removed...

 

I hear you on that, nobody likes their ride vandalize or stolen. Hopefully these thieves slip and you get it back in one piece. Check everywhere.

If you do get it back, beef up the security....I know it's insane to have multiple security layers on a "Honda", but that's the reality.


Whether it be GPS tracking or wheel boots, something to deter it from happening again.

You are smart to have full coverage and will be able to get some sort of compensation from the Insurance Company. Hopefully it turns up asap.

 

sorry to hear that man, i just don't get it/understand it. Why people always gotta mess with other people's cars or steal them. I've always say if i pick a fight or grudge with somebody i'd much rather them come see me then f--k with my car, that's just a whimp move IMO. Hopefully they find your girl's car man. damn thieves

Car has been recovered! They stole the wing, stereo/amp/bits, and Optima battery. I guess they saw the H23 and thought "aw damn...".
