I would have posted this in forced induction but this question is only h22 related. Anyone that boosted their lude, if you built your bottom end did you lower the compression. How much of a power drop-off on your low end , no boost? Do you smog your car , does it effect driveablilty? My problem is I need to smog my car yearly. So its far easier to just swap intakes and ecu. But would I have problems with my motor with a change of 10-1 to 9-1. My main concern is if my check engine light would come on. being an OBD2 that is insta fail on smog.
