Acura EL replacement tires.
I recently purchased a set of Acura EL wheels. I have decided to keep my stock steelies for winter use, and get a new set of tires for the new wheels.
My car has stock suspension since it's my daily driver. However, I want something with a little more "performance" compared to the all-season tires I'm currently driving on.
I can't decide on wheather to get another set of 185/65-15's, in a more aggressive tread, or get something like a 195/60 or maybe even a 205/55?
I have used this http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html to calculate how off my speedo will be if going to a wider, shorter tire.
I have done some searching and have not found a definitive answer. The new tires need to be able to handle rain, not rub(though not being lowered shouldn't be an issue), and not leave me with a HUGE tire to fender gap.
Suggestions? Thanks!

Well, 205/55/15's are borderline too small for the car. You can run a 205/60/15 and still be within a safe range of tire sizes for the chassis. Kumho Ecsta ASX's are available in that size, and will offer a nice amount of traction in most non-Winter conditions.
toyomatt84, that was another size I saw, on the calculator, that would be close in terms of the speedo. being correct.
I was not sure, being that wide a tire, if the tire would "overhang" the wheel lip too much. Now that I think about it, the tire being wider might actually act as a "rim lip guard" to protect the wheel lip...
