I was thinking of putting EK sideskirts on my EG, I see a lot of people just cut the front off, but is it possible, to trim a bit more and then just patch the front part back on? I'm not sure if I'm making sense. I've done minor body work on my car but never worked with plastic before. or just cut the middle out?

 

I would cut out the excess in the middle and plastic weld the 2 pieces back together...

 

i just simply cut off the front part, all i had to cut was about 2" of plastic.
i aligned the back with the frame and just went front their,
FYI you must make your own holes to fit the screws at the bottom, its easy it took me no less than 20min to do them...
