Apparently KYB GR2s paired with Tein S-techs will give you a very stockish ride and about 1.5" of drop. It's also a very affordable combo. Drop anymore than that and the price is going to increase (assuming you want some quality parts) and the ride quality will go down.

I would trust Tom (B18C5-EH2's) opinion.

I'd also add that the Koni Orange would probably be better, albeit more expensive.
And Tokico Blues would be another option. All have lifetime warranties as well.
In searching around the internet the past few weeks for my h2b swap, I've happened across a few threads/ads from tokico that allege that the Tokico blue is not an oem replacement, it's a mild sport shock. Take that for what you will, many people, including myself have certainly attested otherwise.
I just put two new rear tokico blues on my sedan less than a week ago (did the fronts this past spring) And they basically feel like stock shocks to me, maybe slightly stiffer. When I replaced mine I bought 4 brand new springs front honda, along with new bump stops. The ride feels perhaps a tad bit harsher than stock but it's hard to tell when comparing original 18 year old blown shocks with almost 400,000kms on them to brand new shocks. Had I not picked up the two front shocks for next to nothing ($60 for the pair) I most likely would have gone with KYB GR-2s.
Btw Adam do you know how the warranty on the Tokicos works? I bought the front shocks on kijij, brand new in box but I don't have any sort of a reciept. The rears I bought on ebay.

The race/sp2 might be a different story, though.
here's the FAQ on tokico's website:

These people seemed pretty unhappy: http://forums.themustangsource.com/f...-sucks-474427/
Q: How do I make a warranty claim?
A: You need to have your original proof of purchase and make a claim with the business that you originally purchased the product from. If they are no longer in business, you will need to work with another authorized distributor near you.

i would just buy some koni yellows, they run between 400-450 iirc.. if the ride height you're at isn't as low as your want on your current springs, the shocks have perches so you can lower the car even more.
No one said the speedo wouldn't be fine but he's saying that it will not be accurate. And if you ran those before then your speedo was not accurate then.
