is the light solid? or does it flicker with raised rpm? try installing an oil pressure gauge to the port. see what the numbers are

Did you reset the ECU after doing so?

Are you talking about the red oil pressure light? If so this won't reset the oil light. You either have a bad sensor or low oil pressure (not good)

, YES< THE OIL LIGHT,Yes i did replace the sensor, new,but Hero ,i hope it not low oil pressure (red)the light fikers, then gets solid color, then it goes away , took it out today , and light went away?? when i start the car, it now shows up, then dems, and goes out? so i did a 60 mile trip, and it went red, then dim, the out, well i am thinking, lol, since i have let it set for a 2 week period, that , it just oil and needs running, and i did the oil level is ok,after adding lucas oil treatment, going down the high way goes out , i listen to the engine and it sounds fine , but what do i know, yes i think i really sould pressure check it, but i have now way yet, thank you for responeding, i will let you know how the rest of the day goes, sincerly james white

If you can you really need to check oil pressure

you should be reading somewhere around 20-30psi at idle and around 80psi cruising.
if it's lower than that, i'd probably start by pulling the pan. have a look at the oil pick up and make sure it isn't clogged with debris. it's a good place to start, because next up is the oil pump, in which the pan needs to be removed anyways. if there is scarring on the pump housing, pump itself, or damage to the pump rotors, replace it. if not, there may be an issue with bearing clearances or clogged passages
