FS- Spoon VTEC controller for EF8/EF9
FS- Spoon VTEC controller for EF8/EF9
just testing the waters here, but my friend might be selling his Spoon VTEC controller.
for those unfamiliar with the Spoon controller, here's a few tidbits.
all you see is the small **** to adjust the vtec x-over point on the fly, and the controller itself automatically adjusts the fuel/ign to the selected vtec point. there is a small green LED that *clicks* on when VTEC is engaged, letting you know when the fun begins. it also keeps the vtec on when the rpms drop below the selected X-over point (much like the Apex unit) i think u can adjust VTEC as low as 3K, and up to 6500 or so? i can check anyways.
the controller itself PLUGS into any JDM PR3/PW0 (SiR/XSi) ECU, meaning there is ZERO wiring, just plug, play, and go.
isnt in new condition, as it came from japan and has been used. aside from obvious wear on a 12 year old part it works like a charm, never had any problems and it always does what u want it too.
these retail for $600 USD new, and the EF8/9 controller is beyond rare.
the perfect toy if you dont want a big flashy blue screen in your hybrid
pm or email me for more details
