Just recived the RMF header rep from an Ebay member, but i am not sure if am happy with it. The collector seems to be intented in and not round. The ports don't seem to be very round and around the welds up the runners there is a sticky yellow substance.

Would you return it if you were in my shoes or am i just splitting hairs?

how much you pay? if it was dirt cheap, then no... you'll spend money on shipping back which i think the member will not pay for...

 

450 shipped. Keep in mind im in Australia, so shipping to return it won;t be cheap.

 

damn sorry man... returning it will get you back $350-400 atleast; thats if they accept returns. imo return it and go with dc sports or yonaka for both are around 250-300...

 

the seller does accept returns. I think i am going to claim through paypal.

the other one was the same price (ended up costed me more though becauyse back then the AUD wasnt as strong), but the seller had a lot more feedback. The reason why i didnt buy it from the same seller is because they do not exist anymore on ebay or have changed their name...

Yes it was PLM.. its one of the nicer of headers I've seen. Had great fitment and great ground clearance. If you look in my build thread I have pics of it on and off the car
Fyi mine came with that yellow stuff on the welds to I believe its just a coating it burns right off

DO PLM usually come out with quality items?

 

This is the only real faulty product i have got off eBay, but it is making me think PLM products are rubbish...any idea what there other products are like or how their rep is in general?

 

Not sure that's the only thing I've had from them, but I'm sure their good quality for how much they are. Like I said I was very impressed with my header and it was nicer then i expected

 

I didn't go through eBay though I went through a sponser on here. I wouldn't be happy about the dent on the end of your header and I doubt it came from PLM like that. Or did you get it from PLM off eBay?

 

I did get it from eBay, but i had no idea they were PLM. Their listing doesnt state which brand they stock. Do most of the sponsors on here stock PLM for this type of header? The flange itself didnt look the best quality either, i was told on another forum 'that is what i can expect from PLM junk'

 

Yea there's a couple sponsers on here that sell them. Maybe try pming one of them and asking them about them. Like I said I had no problems and was happy with the header. I haven't heard any bad things about them
