ok i am converting my 1996 hatch to rhd. i ordered the complete front clip from Hmotorsonline(thanks to Steve) My question is: To finish the completion of the power window and power lock conversion, what is the easiest way to get it to work. I have complete 99-00 civic si doors as donor parts. If anyone has done this that might be able to help me out, please pm me or leave comment. I have searched all over the internet and the only conclusion that i can come up with is to get CTR complete doors also.

Well, you need all the RHD switches, window actuators, door lock actuators, and mirrors with mounts that are the proper RHD angle, amongst other things, don't you? I trust you didn't think you'd find this on LHD doors.

Did you think about your hatch and fuel door release cables, too?

And now for some unsolicited advice: Converting to RHD is often a time and money pit with little satisfaction beyond the initial cheap thrill of driving from the other side of the car, and maybe a few wierd looks you get on the road. Gets old fast, especially when you realize how much left turns suck even more. Good luck! $$$. Resale value is shyte, too, when you realize you can't stand it anymore.

 

deschlong-- I have RHD door switches, and was hoping to use the complete power window and lock components off a 99-00 civic si. I understand that the actuators are different, that seems to be the only thing that I am currently having problems with. I did forget about the hatch and fuel cables, but i will figure something out!
