Default Tire decision making time-Opinions?

I have a 1993 Honda Civic CX hatchback with 2000 Acura Integra GSR wheels (GSR Blades) with 205/50/15 size tires that need to be replaced with new rubber. I read through the sticky created by Mike C. and he says that my car runs a 195/50/15, but since I have Integra wheels he wrote that the 195/55/15 tire be used for Integra wheels. What tire size would be best, or honestly would there be no difference? I am not interested in buying 205/50/15's again due to my budget, and have thought that maybe the 195/55/15's would reduce road noise, but the 195/50/15's would be a shorter sidewall and lower profile tire look on my car. Tire Rack is my one and only source for tires, as they do offer many styles of tires for both sizes, I have been fond of the Yokohama S. Drive tires since they are in my budget, or possibly the Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires. Either tire looks great and wouldn't mind one or the other. Give me your opinions and questions or straight up answers to send me on my way. Thanks.

The difference in diameter between the 195/50R15 (22.7" avg. diameter) and the 195/55R15 (23.3") is small, and since you've used a 205/50R15 (23.1" avg. diameter), I wouldn't expect any major issues unless the car is completely slammed. I'd do with the Yoko's over the Dunlop unless you step up to the Direzza Z1 Star Spec

The Yoko's were my top choice since they have better reviews and rating. As for the size I am going with the 195/50/15 since the wheels I have will be on a Civic rather than an Integra. 205/50/15 I believe would be a better choice for a 7 inch wheel IMO.

Thank you.

I can't speak to the Direzzas but the S.drives are fantastic for sporty DD.
