As above guys....got a set of 98ITR headlights. One of the fogs is the normal yellow...the other is like a slightly darker shade of yellow to gold type of colour and it appears to be the capsule itself that is darker....i do not believe it is bulb related. I suspect that this darker light is close to brand new as it is spotless. So is it a case of the bulb being on will brighten the yellow capsule to match the other one(passenger side)...or were there different shades of yellow on the itr's. Bulbs are the same and were replaced by me. It doesnt bother me too much as i rarely use the fogs anyway.

sounds like you have a used set from a car that had one side replace not long befor the parts where pulled i would just leave it or order another set get two that match and sell the others on ebay or craigslist.

Get a new light for the darker one.. I had this issue with mine except my lenses themself weren't darker.. One light was blown n when I changed it, they shined different.. But if you put a brighter light in one it should do the trick, unless you want to spend more $$ on headlights n to find someone that only has one.. Lol but GL man
