I have a set. I think they're forged, anodized aluminum. They're different than the Skunk2 pieces. They're also much lighter than the Kyokugen nuts. One box of four of the Axas nuts weighed about the same as one of my chrome nuts that came with my old Racing Hart ST6 wheels. I'm using them with my TE-37's and they match the bronze almost perfectly. Whew-I never thought i'd be this long winded about lugnuts
so what is the point on buying this over priced nuts? i used honda oem, works fine.
Check and make sure that your lugnuts are appropriate for the application! Safety first!

The weight of the lug nuts really doesn't matter at all. I would be cautious about using aluminum for lug nuts though. Aluminium has diferent thermal expansion/contraction characteristics and I would be very affraid of them working themselves loose over the course of a road race (or even just on a long road trip)

65 shipped is what i paid for my kyokugen's back in the day. if i knew if they would fit on my racing hart dtm's i would stroll with them...

I must be missing something by this quote. I'm using the Axas lugs(forged aluminum) with forged aluminum wheels- same material.

These look identical to the Buddy Club lugs. They have the same packaging and everything except it doesn't say "Axas" up top, it has the Buddy Club logo. I'll try and find a pic.
i got a set of these on my car with skunk2 extended stud and i love it
Yes light weight lug nuts are not that critical but unsprung weight is the worst kind
These are now called Daiyama Ultra-Lightweight Racing Lugs. I just got a set for my rims, and they are pretty light. It also says Titanium Gold Finish. Now I just need extended wheel studs.....

What makes those so much better then the Axas lugs? They look the same to me. I don't plan on extending my studs, do they look bad with out the longer studs?
