Default Help decide: B18c intake or skunk2?

hey guys! this is my first post...

i currently acquired a 93 eg hatch, with a b16A engine. i was told that the previous owner put a skunk2 intake manifold and aftermarket cams and camgears.

now i want to bring it back (well at least) to its old setup.

my friend told me to save money, i can just simply get a b16b cams then a b18c intake manifold. however, when i compared the price of the intake manifold it is almost the same for a used b18c intake and a skunk2 (http://www.vexmotorsports.com/Skunk2...-_p_11873.html).

which do you think is better? thanks in advance!

The b18c as in the ITR version or the JDM GSR version? For fact the JDM GSR mani will not fit the b16 head.

X2.. And why are you asking if you should buy a skunk 2 or stock one when you said there's already a skunk 2 on it?

sorry guys for not making it clear, the previous set up was with a skunk2. but he removed it before he planned on selling the car and put back the stock manifold and cams..

i'm talking about the b18c itr.

I'd just get which ever one you can find cheaper. The skunk 2 is a little better but probably not enough to really tell a difference

ok thanks Dc4LsTeG. the price is the same for the used ITR intake manifold and a brand new Skunk2.

I don't get it, if it's the R version then you should already have an ITR manifold.
