Since I am adjusting the coilover by the shock body, I loosen the lower collar, and raise it to my masking tape marker. I can then grasp the shock (anywhere above the green cylinder is fine) and twist to the desired ride height. Once complete, retighten the lower collar, and nut at the top of the shock.

He explains how to do it here.

NO, not all coilovers have the ability to adjust them from the lower mount. For an example, Koni/gc, and progress.

Or, all of your slip on's.

Now I know you're on drugs. Why are they NOT coilovers? They are a coil over your shocks. Even a stock setup is a coilover setup.

These cars come from the factory runing COILVOERS!!

it doesn't matter if they come with shocks, or are a one peice design. They are still coilovers!

Get your facts straight.

Let him talk. He keeps showing everyone that he has no clue as to what he's saying or doing to his car. Quite frankly with the stuff I'm learning I'm thinking he has some sort of learning disability.

No
So the links way is correct? A few other forums say not to turn the shock body itself otherwise it will damage it self

It's a coil over over shock. That's what they ALL are. How does that not make it a "true" coilover? I'm just saying.

WTF is this true coilover bullshit?

The car came from Honda with "true coilovers''.

We can get back on topic when you stop thread jacking every thread with your bullshit information.

you want the shock body to thread inside the lower mount of the coilover.

Your turning the shock body itself.

if you're worried about this, you can unbolt the lower mount, raise the collar of the coilover, and spin the lower mount up. This would eliminate spinning the shock, but you'll have to unbolt the coilovers from the car. This will get anoying.

For Type Flex, only adjust the lower nut and turn the whole shocks to the desired height. The top nut only for spring preload adjustment.
