THE GOOD:
I'm the first private owner , it was originally sold out of Arizona for corporate fleet use, I took ownership with 88,763 miles on the clock, i only put 60,000 miles on in 12 years! I have owned it for 12 years now and the last couple years of that it has been stored at an indoor storage facility (with fuel tank drained).
I have the same story as most, almost everything restoration wise has been done I had a B swap planned but then life hit and I need to sell to fund a neglected daily driver. I spent $1685 (with receipt proof) on only genuine Honda replacement parts for the restoration, no corners cut, items include new oem: headliner(old one was tearing), both visors, spare tire cover, inner driver fender skin, and every single clip and plug to make sure the interior and trunk were 100% complete (nothing missing). Interior is showroom level with very slight DD wear, including all door cards back and front seats. I have every single receipt and box from Honda with picture proof.
The original D16Y7 had a rod bearing failure on one cylinder that did damage to the block that unfortunately was not repairable. I still have the block for proof along with every single motor piece to rebuild the D16 around a new block items include: complete automatic transmission with torque converter, pressure plate and starter, alternator and brackets, power steering and brackets, complete A/C system including compressor brackets and condenser, complete cylinder head including distributor, complete OEM intake and exhaust (missing one tube on intake), cruise control, virgin wiring harness and P2E ecu, all motor mounts, axles, everything disassembled by me and bagged and labeled (also included Brand New Innovative driver side mount that replaces the shitty plastic Honda piece, Part number B10010 it's 6061 alum with a 60A Urethane insert that will fit either a D or B Series engine post mounts.)Also will include OEM Honda B series swap mounts including Del Sol Vtec driver side post mount (part # 11910-p30-000) and 99-00 Si rear Mount Bracket (part # 50827-s04-n10) both pieces were never installed, and make most b swaps plug and play. Picture proof of every single part for serious buyers.
New tires all around on original OEM rims (put on 8-17-11)and original good condition spare
Stock suspension on all four corners Never modded in any way.
All interior speakers replaced with OEM Honda on 1-15-12, car also has a Dual XDMA6855 head unit with Ipod connection.
All electronics checked 1-15-12 everything works fine including: headlights, taillights, every interior light, head unit and Viper keyless entry installed by circuit city. (picture proof for serious buyers)
I have every single receipt for anything ever done to the car including original sales contract, and ALL smog and dmv paperwork.
I will also provide any serious buyers with a complete Clean CARFAX for the car in either digital or printed format to back all my claims.
THE BAD:
Car was a victim of a hit and run in 8-5-2003 that is on the CARFAX. It happened to me and was just slight damage to driver fender and minor front bumper damage from being clipped everything was repaired with new oem parts by an insurance covered body shop. Entire original repair report will be provided for final buyer.
Other bads: car has cracked windshield from side to side, also very minor cosmetic damage (pictures included) scrapes in back bumper. Paint is 8.5 out of 10 everything looks new but trunk and roof need a good buff and a clear spray (very common for Honda's in hot climates. Front driver seat needs slight restitching and one tiny burn on back seat and very slight on front seat(all pictures included) The stock exhaust has a small crack that can be welded but cat is still in great condition, car is 98% rust free 3 small spots on hood, inside of driver door, and near rear driver wheel arch. ( macro photos of all 3 spots with dime for scale for serious buyers)
This car has so much potential either stick with the D series, or swap a B, H, K, I had plans but don't have the time so it needs to go to a good home. It's a gem of a car and this is the first time it's been offered for sale and was only used as a daily driver NEVER MODDED in any way, must be seen to be believed (280+ pictures documenting everything for serious buyers only)

Not worth a dime over $1250. Dude, come on, its 15 years old, the paint sucks, the bottom end of the motor is bad and not even in the car, its automatic, tan interior, ect. You're absolutely out of your mind asking $5000!!!!! Especially the $8000 price you set in the SoCal sales part. Haha.
Does this have a built kseries that I'm missing or something is that why the motor is out?
