Parting out? PLEASE HELP
so i need a little help from honda tech peers.im 17 years old and i want to buy my first car(honda of course). i am making money selling candy and chips at school, and even buying and selling ipods on craigslist to save up, but im not making enough. im turning 18 in a few months and i dont want to have a license and no car. so i want to buy (a) scrap car(s), and part it out to make a little extra cash. so MY QUESTION IS: WHAT CAR WOULD BE HIGHEST IN DEMAND AND WOULD MAKE ME THE MOST MONEY? i dont want to buy a car and just waste my money and be left with a junk car and parts that no one wants. ek's? eg's? integras? which one would part out the fastest? THANKS A LOT!
the stuff has to be in good shape to make a decent amount on it. I think right now 97 accords have some parts worth serious money on them look for some of those if not get a ek. id say 99 or 00 i think theyre more common than the 96-98s which would give you a better profit margian

Ive parted out a few cars, all DA integras. There is money to be made, but you will need space to store the parts. Not everything will sell right away so you will end up with a bunch of parts that take a long time to sell. Get car as cheap as possible (obviously), but also get one with actual usable parts on it. A car with a broken window and has been sitting outside would mean that most of the interior is probably trashed so unless you can pick it up for close to what scrap price is, then it becomes a gamble. Like igotthaspirit said a civic or integra would be a good choice since there is a huge market for them. Start small and dont get in over your head or have a bunch of money tied up in them and not have money for anything else because then you will have to unload stuff quickly and not get as much money for them. Be smart and start out small and you should be fine. Good luck man.
Thanks for the help guys, i appreciate it, some people in the other thread i posted just started hating and saying unneccesary things that were no help. I appreciate it, if u have any more advice or tips please let me know
