Lowest tire pressure for street?
Lets say I run 35/33 PSI cold, with 205-50-15 S-03
How much lower can I drop the tire pressure and still be withing safe specs and not put uneven wear on tires.
Thanks in advance

why?
lets say i'd like to drop fronts to 31-32psi cold and 2-4psi lower on rears...

this is for normal street driving.. mostly for highway.. i noticed less vibration from tires with lower psi at the rear and all the way around..
what got me thinking about it:
i had rotated/balanced tires, didn't adjust pressure, it was cooler the next day
as I pulled on the highway, i noticed no vibration in steering, where i'd still get very mild shake. I checked pressure and it was 35F/30R. While it worked for high speeds, it worked better with 2psi difference (35F/33R) when driving on street.. like more stable around turns.
(none of what I mentioned above is dramatic difference, but if you pay attention to the car.. it will matter)
tirerack suggested 32F/30R if I don't want to screw up tirewear, and no lower than 27 to be somewhat safe..
So I'll start with 32F/30R, and maybe end up at 33F/31R.

Don't use low tire pressures. The tires will overheat and your handling will suck - do you want unpredicatable handling if you have to do an emergency manoevre to avoid an accident? I think not.
Get solid motor mounts instead - this will eliminate wheel hop. If you want more traction - get Z10 traction bars.
You drive a FWD vehicle which unweights the front of the car during hard acceleration. Changing front tires pressures is the wrong way to get around this problem.

one thing i don't understand is how would low tire pressure cause tires to overheat?
i placed 25Kmiles with even wear running 33-39psi... all of that should be within the safe range... as they wear... they vibrate more at high speeds.. so i was trying to see how low i can go and still be safe.. maybe improve road feel

Which would be more beneficial to get first? And how much does each cost? Anyone?
