I'm about to install a d16z6 in my hatch, now I'm converted obd1 already and I ran a d16a6 with d15bvtec injectors (obd1) without a resistor box before. I sold the old swap and I want to know if the d16z6 injectors need a resistor box?

 

Z6 injectors do not use the resistor box.

 

Sweet good to know now im not wired for vtec, will my car still start n run ok to get to a shop for the vtec wiring?

 

It should run but will throw a code if you get into higher rpm's.
