I was wondering if anyones ever thought about opening up a oem car seat and redesigning the seats front and bottom cushion? Redo the foam and have it hug you more, like the recaros and bride seats?

I'm thinking about doing this with some rsx and 06+ si seats I have laying around...

My girlfiend who's amazing at sewing and doing her own custom pillows and bed sheets gave me the idea...

Now I just wanna know if anyones ever done this before or have try to?

You may try using the foam from another kind of seat that you like. Then the foam will match on both sides, instead of trying to sculpt foam by hand.

 

Yeah I was thinking about that too but I think its 10x cheaper if you just buy a sheet of foam and cut it out yourself lol
