Burning up coil's or whatever is inside, AutoZone told me that was the 6th time replacing it for me in a year. IDK why.

there ya go..

keep telling autozone that their parts are crap and your riding it out till you find one that works correctly.

Edit: at least you have a part thats easily removable.. Axles are a pain to keep replacing.

If you don't feel like replacing ignition components everytime you do an oil change buy an OEM distributor.

I have a dizzy from autozone with a lifetime warrteny , they keep givin me
PO6 non-vtec 1.5 dizzy, they work but not well or long, now i have a second dizzy not from autozone and is obd-1, But has PO3 stamped on it..

Any idea what motor this could be from, a PO3 dizzy.

I know the firing order is different on the 1.5 so how do i keep running this dizzy on my 1.6 v-tec?????

Firing order isn't different and there is a slight difference between the VTEC and non VTEC distributors. If they insist on giving you the wrong one, insist on obtaining the right one. Besides that, the Z6/Z1 distributors have a different mounting flange. That should be a dead give away to them that they are giving you the wrong one.

Then you don't have a Z6 head. If it's a vtec head it's probably from a Y8, they use the same mounting flange as a D15B7/D15B8 distributor. Also most aftermarket distributors are junk.
