Will a Civic wagon 4wd axles fit 89 civic hatchback?

Are you asking if the front or the rear set of axles on the 4WD will work in the hatch?

 

Im asking if front axles will fit the hatch. Drive side or passenger.

 

Doesn't look like they will. The wagons have equal length axles where yours does not. Besides the length, I think the wagon axles had 2 more splines.

 

that is correct - 4wd wagon uses the same axles as the JDM CRX/Civic Si models with the DOHC ZC engine, transmission and intermediate shaft - unequal length axles are 26mm diameter with 25 splines on transmission end - equal length are 28mm diameter with 27 splines - the 4wd wagon intermediate shaft will not work with DOHC ZC transmission, only with the 6-speed wagon transmission
