p3x ecu?
ok so i got a 96 ej9 and i want to swap a b16 that i also have. i have done a lot on research on this. i would like to no if anyone has dealt with these wire harness befor. its not obd2 or obd1 im lost and looking for an opinion heres a pic of what im workin with it looks like i can add some wires to make it obd1 which is what i want any way here it is.
About all I can tell you about it is it's some weird Euro thing. I've really only seen it come up once before on H-T. Perhaps you can fill me in on a few things that might help me help you though. What's currently in it for an engine? Is it carbed? dual point injected? Or MPFI? What year is the car? (the last time I saw this setup it was in a '95.
Btw. here's the one other thread that relates to this that I'm aware of, note that there were at least two different ECUs that used this setup, the PC2 and the P3X.

Interesting, it's got 4 injectors but they seem to classify it as dual point or simplified fuel injection (injectors 1 and 4 and 2 and 3 fire at the same time. The pinout looks really weird to me. Personal guess as to your best option? You could either take another P3X or P2C ECU and cannibilize it for the plug to build a conversion harness and run the extra wire straight from the ECU to the engine bay, or replace the harness entirely with one from a '96 - '00 civic that uses a normal setup.

Any chance you could take the cover off and snap a few pics of the board? I'm kind of curious more than anything. If there's an outline for an eeprom socket it might be chippeable (it's not a guarantee, P07s for example have the outline, but they can't be chipped) If it doesn't even have an outline for a chip then that's probably a definite no.
