700+hp Daily Driven Dyno
Once again my buddy Darnell was able to put together a wicked setup.. It's always a pleasure to tune his car or a car he builds cause its always a smooth experiance. Never sitting there chasing issues.
setup:
2.0 b-series
9.5 to 1 compression
Skunk2 pro1 cams
JG intake manifold
HPC ramhorn manifold
Turbonetics 64/65 billet turbo
ID1000 injectors, intank 255, and inline 255
hondata s300
msd 6al with ss coil
c16 gas
car made 530hp on pump 93 gas and this graph was on c16 and 26lbs

car previously went 10.3@140 with about 520-540hp... should deff haul some serious a$$ now

So the owner of the vehicle is daily driving with C16?
While the car was pushed to 700whp using C16... that doesnt make it a 700whp daily driven vehicle unless you daily drive the car to work, to the mall, or to the the club using C16...

Why does everyone on honda-tech do this, instead of giving props?
If he drives the **** on the street during the week, wether it has c16 or 93 it still makes the power, thats like saying oh because you have a boost controller and drive on 10psi instead of 20 your car can't run daily on 20psi.
Is the car daily driven at 700whp? the answer to that question is no... so its not a 700whp daily driver... its a 530whp daily driver... and that still deserves props...

I have all of that and no desire to buy the 2000's if I don't have to!
Sick numbers man, pics of the car? Wish I could make 700hp with no issues.

thats like 850 with c16... very nice... 120 psi base pressure is very high though for a daily driven car because of the load put on the fuel pumps making them HOT! i cant imagine its hurting those dual bosch pumps though...
people run the bigger injectors for a daily car so they dont put the big load on there fuel pumps... 100 base pressure on the fuel pumps for a highway cruise is a lot of current draw on those pumps...
running 45psi base pressure on your fuel pumps with id2000s versus running 100psi base pressure with ID1000s when trying to make 700whp+ is going to be a huge reliability factor for a daily driver because of the low load on the pumps...

lol you guys are funny....
we had the car on e85 before.. he didnt want to shell out $800 for 2200's plus whatever he would spend on a new pump setup to make the same power on e85.. its not that bad spending $50 or so on c16 every few months or so when we go to the track.
its a full street car.. full interior, full exhaust, and sees a lot of miles on the road/race spots driving around on c16
