found an SI hatch, front end damage, radiator core swap??
so my 91 hatch got totaled in the rear end.
and i've been searching local CL's ads to find another hatch.
finally sourced a 90 SI hatch. very clean inside and out, 1 owner, 140,xxx OG miles
but has a little front end damage. the front bumper itself is rather decent. windshield is shot, and hood and bumper filler panel are shot.
onto the pics

(i know, i dont like the blacked lenses or the projectors...they will be replaced)

i have a full front end cap on my 91 hatch that i could swap over, but wanting to get ideas as to the possible damage from this??
id doesnt seem to me that the actual front end itself is bent in, but i think it would be the middle radiator support where the hood latches, thus making the hood pop up and such.
ideas? im thinking about getting it, but need some opinions of people who have seen this damage and know what to expect?

In most cases where the impact comes into contact with the top of the radiator support it bends the hood latch bracket and headlight socket frames. Hondas were engineered to absorb impact and collapse on themself so those types of accidents actually spare your frame rails. It can usually be repaired quite easily by drilling out the few spot welds holding the affected areas together. I've repaired a Crx that had similar looking damage from a truck tow hitch, wasn't to bad.
It is doable. I totaled the front end of my crx but loved it to much to part with it so I spend days in the frame shop getting it bent back. Be prepared to do the work and no matter what, it will NOT fit together perfectly. That one though doesn't look like it took to much damage, I'd do it.
