I have a red bay, and am putting a b20v into it. I have done a full wire tuck, hidden the brake lines/fuel filter/lines, and pretty much everything else in the bay.

What color scheme would you put on the motor if it were your car?

I'm thinkin black gloss trans, silver block, head (?), and customary red VC.

This is gonna get some strange replies, if any.. thanks.

 

My only opinion is paint your tranny, block and head the same color

I would say that if your engine bay is a dark color paint everything silver. If its a light color then black would look good.

 

yeah that sounds good to me.

i have looked at so many engine bays it's not even funny...

i'm pretty set on...

black car
red bay
black transmission (low gloss, but not matte)
red VC
silver block
silver head
black oilpan

i dunno about the block and the head... if i can find the right silver without it being too 'chrome' or rice looking i'll stick with silver.
