Default b16 headgasket for ls/vtec

i have a ls/vtec with gsr head. need a headgasket and i know your supposed to use the ls one but the b16 one is cheaper and they are both b series and 81mm so why wouldnt i be able to use the b16? i know the hole in the b16 gasket for the vtec drain passage isnt there on the ls but i dont need that because the drain passge is blocked off in the head anyhow

so basically youd rather slice your throat because the knife is cheaper and can be re-used versus the tried and true bullet to the head because it cost 1.00 a round...use whatever you want hell id just use blue rtv it seems to be the absolute cheapest way unless your road is being paved and you can bum a couple cups of asphalt to use as a head gasket....sorry but read the how to build a reliable ls/vtec thread in its ENTIRETY.

i have read it in its entirety, and i have built several b series engines. basically what your telling me is you have no idea if it will work so why even respond at all? this question was directed to anyone who has tried it or has the two gaskets side by side to confirm that the oil drain passage is the only difference. in that case i would be willing to use the b16. so im not cutting my throat because its cheaper im buying a 9mm instead of a 45, they both do the exact same job but ones cheaper :p a lot of info in the stickied section is several years old didnt know if this would help save others money on headgaskets as well

what I AM TELLING you is that youre a dumbass. IF you read it in its ENTIRETY your question would have been answered. and entirety means every single page not just the how-to part. But since you appear to have a reading comprehension problem i will sum it up for you for the first and last time. Golden eagle uses a vtec headgasket. Many other users including bambam the author of said thread recommends the use of the LS headgasket. And then there are those that take the ls headgasket one step further and drill the rivets out. so basically its like sex doggy style, missionary, pile driver...who the hell cares as long as your dick gets wet and you get where youre going as long as you dont leak and end up ****ed.
