picked up a pretty much bare shell coupe last night, now the project of building this thing begins! posting pics after work

finally getting rid of the donor car for my ek build that i sold.. bye bye teggy, had to make room for the new project

didnt feel like putting my suspension on at the dudes house in the dark/cold so we picked it up and slid it onto the trailer.. fun fun

1/28

started putting the rear suspension on then the front while the car was on the trailer(tons of fun trying to squeeze in there) but it got finished and rolled off the trailer that day

1/29

Got the motor on the hoist ready to go in(b18b, GSR trans, ACT stage 2, DC sports header) and then started putting some body panels on

Got the motor in! now i just have to sort out this wiring(previous owner did a wire tuck and relocated fuse box under the dash) and also have no steering column/ignition/dash in it just a mess of wires..

got the steering column and ignition in, wiring mostly sorted out, it fired up today but i shut it right off because i dont have any coolant in it

yea, this is my first build like that, ive bought a shell and dropped a motor in but never built one basically from a bare body, what a rush when it started up, i cant wait for the first time i drive it

so today i sorted out all the wiring issues with the harness(the kid i got it from extended all the body harness plugs so it could be tucked, turned out to be a real pain in the ***, only thing left is the wiper motor plug(i turn the car on and the wipers go on high when their suppose to be off). i also ran the harness back through the dash and finished putting the rest of it in and plugged everything in

yea still undecided on color, but its gotten pretty far, i drove it around alittle today just working out minor issues. i need to upload more updated pics, getting the windshield done monday then need a front bumper and headlights

pics should be self explanatory, installed lower strut tie bar, upper strut bar, front upper strut bar, also today i put on an apexi exhaust ill post pics tomorrow, its hitting the shift linkage tho
