Would you buy this? Need Advice
Hello,
I haven't owned a honda in about 5 years. I'm looking to get back in one. I have been looking at a 2007 civic si sedan. I found a dealer willing to sell me one for $10,900. Here's the details
2007 Civic Si Sedan
125,000 miles,
lowered, unknown springs, possibly tokico blues, front and rear tie bars
Mechanically the car seems fines except the clutch is kinda stiff. Possibly aftermarket or might need replacing. (Still grips strong)
Tranny seems fine. Can shift into Third at high rpm's without issues. Also no pop out.
Audio aftermarket head unit, 2 speakers are blown.
Other than that, the car rides and drives fine.

Would you take a chance on this or should I keep looking? I've been trying to find one between 11 - 13k.
Thanks

The clutch is aftermarket, and if you've already driven it, and you like it, take it! then do the must's! oil change, tune up, blah blah, but if it it was me i would get a 2006 si
My clutch was stiff it wasn't a aftermarket, just a failing pressure plate.
I don't think it is a car that go for the long haul if that is what you are looking for, what you want to find is a nice straight car that has nothing done to it, then most likely it was just someones daily driver not a car that was beat.
