I was wondering if anybody knows how to rewire the fogs to make them as running lights, This would be on a 91 teggy any advice would help thanks for looking.

 

Easy enough, pull the fog light switch, cut the red/yellow lead and extend the switch end long enough to reach the under dash fuse box, [cap off the harness end of cut red/yellow lead to prevent shorting], now connect a "quick disconnect" connector to the end of the extended red/yellow from the fog light switch and plug it into the park light free pin on the under dash fuse box, [park light free pin is the free pin that is only powerd when park/head lights are on.

You can leave the fog light switch on and they will turn on/off with the head light switch, or you can turn the fog lights off by turning the fog light switch off. 94

wow, i think i wanna try this, ive always wanted to drive with my yellow fogs on but not having my headlights on all the time

 

it's easy it took me about 10 mins.

 

can someone post a pic of where your connecting it in the fuse box?

 

See the three (3) single terminals just the the right of of the last row of fuses along with a forth "horizontal" one to the right of the three, they are the free pins, sorry I can't remember which one is the park light free pin, I am sure mvp40 could tell you.

Or just use your fog lights as a test light, extend the lead down to the fuse box, crimp on the proper female "quick disconnect" and plug it in to the free pins the one that works only when the park/head lights are on is the park light free pin, you can also use the 2nd ign. free pin, [hot when ign. switch is in run position] there is also a 12V+ constant free pin, [hot at all times] but using that one could lead to you forgetting the fog lights on. 94

Dont buy yellow bulbs. Go to ebay and search for jdm yellow fog capsules they clip right in and give you a nice yellow color. Best $20 i ever spent on my teggy
