I got a 2011 tsx, when going down a declining highway I notice im at like 62mph and the trans is not shifting from 4th to 5th. If i let go the gas its still in 4th, I can use the paddle shifter to go to 5th. Or feed more gas and it shifts around 68mph

This is abnormal right?

I noticed on a flat straight away it would go into 5th easily..

I just called acura and i guess its normal going downhill, beats me

 

i think the reason for this is because the computer may be utilizing engine braking. not sure though as i know very little about auto transmissions. But its always a decent idea to bring the car in especially since its still under warranty and have a tech drive it for you to see.
