hi
i have honda accord 1983
and my problem is :
the car engine stops when i stop moving suddenly
and is also stops when i going down (on slope)
and the RPM dont stay fix

so what is the problem??!!!
help PLZ

 

Sounds like float level.

 

I second this. I used to have an 83 Civic that would start to sputter out if going around sharp bends or down steep hills. Cleaned/adjusted the carb and all was well.

 

Well its hard to say with so little info. But what I can tell you is if your car stoppes running your car is lacking one of the three comp. Fuel,spark,air. Another question is does it have a hard time starting once it does shut off, does the car have a batt light luminating? But possible answers for a car to shut off while driving, bad altenator, bad crank sensor. Shold check for spark.

 

Ps. Said rpm dont stay check timing if timing marks dont stay chang distrubarator. Also possible reason why car would stop
