Insurance claimed it a total loss for flood. Where i live we had heavy rain, and some places flooded. The car itself was never in the flood, nor did it have any type of water in it. The way the car is now, is the way we made the claim. They paid out, we purchased it back from insurance and did the paperwork. Car is 100% though and has had absolutely no damage to it.

We bought the car back from the insurance company... Expecting "14k$" worth of damage... And all we did was put a battery in and drove it home.
So if it wasn't an insurance job, please explain why it was perfectly a fine running car. That even the stealership... Couldn't find anything that they could charge me for. Not even tryin to sound cocky, but the only thing that makes sense is that.
Did you originally own it or did you buy this car from auction? Again, an insurance company isnt going to total a vehicle if there isnt damage (or if its repairable damage) to it. Why would they pay thousands and thousands of dollars to settle a "total loss" if all it needed was a battery? It doesnt add up.
Someone should run the VIN, that'll clear up the history with this car.

You don't and I don't know the situation the previous owner was in, nor his "ties" he had with the insurance adjuster that came out.
As I said, all I did was replace the battery. So, please give me a more
Viable option how the previous owner did this... And if it's logical, it will be acknowledged.
