Default oversize valves question.

so i bought some Bisimoto oversize valves....i didn't buy seats which maybe i should have but i took it to the machine shop. And they said they can do the intakes fine...but the exhaust the tip to groove is different. the height of the valves are the exact same but the groove for the keepers sits higher on the bisi valves in then the stock one...and it has the guy at the machine shop all sorts of confused...can anyone tell me how that works or how you'd install them? i've called Bisi and he said i need to get oversize seats...but to me it still doesn't make sense cause the height of the actual valve still never changes, the guy i took it to does mostly domestics but he's done plenty of Honda's too and he's pretty confused as well. Thanks for any help...and if you need a pic for what i'm trying to explain i'll post one in a few minutes.

Hows it going. I had spoke to you over the phone earlier about your situation. Oversized valves do require oversized valve seats. Proper installation of a valve seat recreates the correct valve height and restore valve train geometry to factory specifications and allows for proper spring seat pressures. Any reputable machine shop that can properly install valve seats will be able to compensate for this.

haha yeah you did. he just seems so confused i told him exactly what you told me and he seems so hesitant to mess with it. Maybe i can get you to talk to the guy or something? or take it esle where? I love your guys products, and it's by far the best in the market for the F22's.

Definitely appreciate it, when it comes to machining i'm clueless not gonna lie. I should be swinging by there tomorrow after work so i'll try to get them to give you a call see if you can't explain it to him better, i know the guys experienced i've been recommended to him by plenty of people in the area but like i said in a earlier post i think some of the Honda things throw him off.

just wanted to say i appreciate it Julio, for talking to my guy at the machine shop. I guess i'm a poor middle man. He said after talking to you he knows what he's gotta do now and they are going on with the build finally! So thanks man! as always y'alls customer service is the best, along with many of things Bisimoto has to offer!
