very nice what kelvin hids you using? yes the jb weld is kind of a pain but not too bad. the putty on the other hand...i would rather saw my hand off with a butter knife.

for the price these projectors are amazing. anyone ever tried a retro on a truck or do they sit up too high. i got a 90 c3500 and an extra pair of mh1s

i could not see a way to mount the shroud to the projector with the projector and shroud by themselves. i got an extra pair though so ill try and figure this out for my next retro possibly into my c3500 or my gfs 02 accord

easier to work with and could still easily be taken off if needed

I did not have to use jb weld or any sort of glue for my retrofit and little to no cutting. However my friend needed jb weld for his FX-Rs into his BMW. His were not quite as simple as mine, because of the size of the projector, as well as design, you cannot simply screw them in.

As for using jb weld instead of epoxy, its all personal preference and using what you have available. Jb weld is very good because it is very stong, if you know what you are doing the first time jb weld will do the job well so you will not have to worry about any problems arising later. I dont know about you but I would not want to have to remove or take apart my head lights once they are done. Once there done I should feel confident about their durability and functionality. That's just my opinion

cool i used jb weld because i wanted mine to be 100% permanent. also jb weld is very heat resistant so i can remove the lens to clean/replace it or yellow out the high beam reflector in the future.

im definitely gonna be switching to a lower bulb temp. i like the look of the 6ks but i want more light on the street.

now i just need some good fogs. had some 3k fogs but im beginning to think i like the light of the yellow halogen h3s instead
