just picked up a set of carbon spoon mirrors with the inside piece is plastic and the outside is carbon lookin for pics of the inside piece painted but the outside left carbon fiber

I always thought it depended on the color of the car. Some can pull it off all black and some painted. I personally want to get some and have been looking at the Inline 4 that are supposed to be made just like the Spoon ones so that I can keep mine powered.

 

I agree with you. I didn't know if I could pull it off, cause most bases are black with the mirrors painted. Sort of defeats the purpose of getting carbon though. It took me a while to get used to the look, but I like it now. Sets it apart from everyone else. Thankfully, these were powered.
