Default 93 accord tail lights won't go on

I got into a little accident and crunched my front lights. I fixed them and replaced the broken ones but my tail lights won't go on now. My brake lights still work and turn signals as well. Where do I check/test for this? Do I use a multimeter?

Thank you kindly, Christine

Nevermind… I fixed it. I discovered that the last mechanic to work on my car swapped out a #20 fuse and replaced it with a #10 fuse. There are no excuses for that kind of service. He should have said something about it.

I am wondering if this was done intentionally knowing I was a woman who "didn't know anything" and would have to bring it back again for service. Grrrr.
