My New Tegs (issues)
So i just recently picked up a integra sedan with a b20vtec swap, and auto to manual swap.....and a couple thing dont work. from what i understand they are all common swap issues. Any Help i can get would b great.
1.)Horn doesnt work
2.)Cruise doesnt work
3.)Reverse lights dont work
another issue that i noticed is when im at high rpm....above 5 grand, the speedo isnt very accurate or smooth, it kind of like bounces across the gauge......i figure that i may be the speed sensor cuz the chassis itself has about 280xxx miles on it but its straight as an arrow....any ideas?

reviers lights should be an ez fix. From what i have seen its you can just run a wire fron the center console area to a connector for the back-up switch on the trany to fix this. I have heard that there is a place on the drivers side engine bay that had the revirse light wire but i didn't have them on my Del sol when i Did the swap so i just ran the wires to the old connector in the center console.
for the cruse you need a ground the Pink wire that was in the Gear Posision switch found in the center console. you will want to use the switch found on the cluch pedel for this as you don't want the engine to rev sky high if you put in the clutch.
as for the horn not working i have never had this happen to me. if it worked befor the swap i have never had it not work after as the horn wirering is not part of any of the swaped parts.

1 & 2 are related, chances are you need a new clock spring/cable reel, it is what connects all the wires in the steering wheel to the column, check your local junk yards or ebay, they aren't super cheap from the dealer, just make sure you get one from a car with crusie
Phat4Door is correct it could be a clockspring but you will still need the wire connection for the cruse to work.
most of the time no one hooks up the cruse when thay do the Auto to 5Speed swaps

also if thay just cut off the old gear possion swith you now have a great place to tap in a starter kill switch.
best thing i have seen done with this it if your car had AC and it was removed run the starter wire to the ac switch.
looks all stock inside and all you need to do to start the car is "Turn on the AC"
