Default Need some advice about pricing on s2000

Ok it's a 2001 s2k 130,000 miles, has Oem hardtop, Koni Yellow's with Groundcontorls, Cusco Carbon front strut bar, SS Break lines, Full Invida Exhaust, redone Italiano leather, AEM cai, header idk the brand, fairly new tires, has a clean title and the body is decent. Price is 14,500 firm is that right sounds a little high for me but I'm not sure. Kbb placed it around 8,500 for a stock s2k with the same miles that right?

i honestly wouldnt pay more than 10g's for it....but with that said, mileage doesnt mean anything depending on the maintainence records of the car...if it was well taken care of, 130k isnt that bad, remember, its still a honda and ive seen s2k's over 200k running great

FWIW

I paid 15 for my 03 with 62K , white on tan <--rare, w/ OEM hardtop and a few other mods

The car was in absolute immaculate 1 owner condition, other than that I wouldn't have dropped that much, I'd say you'd be over paying esp for that mileage

Ok thanks everyone that's what I thought I think she has it priced so high because she isn't ready to let go of it yet.

Assuming the exterior and interior of the car is 9/10:

2003, + - 40k miles, mostly stock except TE-37 Volks (real).

Here is the catch, salvaged title

What would you pay IF you bought this?

(don't say you wouldn't, just imagine if you were going to buy it)

Okay... 3000$ for the hardtop setup given, +400$ for the Koni/GC setup, +250 for the invidia, +16.95/CRV for the 30-rack of beer for the seats, a thumbs up for the AEM CAI, 10$ for header.. you're at nowhere close to 14,500. I would pay 10 if I liked it.

Reason for salvage?

Oh and reason for salvage? Does it matter? Will you blow it off regardless?
I think I can assure that it is not something crucial, however.

So if it isn't a major reason why it's salvage, what would you price it around more or less?

Just wondering because sometimes a title gets salvaged for something very minor where another may have been in a pretty bad accident.

I'm not trying to sell it or get it sold via HT.
Just curious to hear people's opinion on here that is all.

It was salvaged due to collision on the driver's door. So it was replaced with one of the same color. That's really it. I've had it since 20k miles if you look at the pictures in my garage thing on my profile.

You should buy it then when you crash it you will get enough money back to buy a 88 CRX with no engine....

sad part is that the market (especially in SoCal if you're here) is super saturated with salvaged s2000's. So regardless of cleanliness, joe blow with his AP2 for under 10k is gonna undersell you unfortunately. Just enjoy the car, that would be my advice (coming from someone with an s2k with over 180k on the clock and rebuilt/replaced everything)

My mentality is, however, that not everyone thinks this way.
But if things line up in a convenient fashion, I'll get a reasonable amount for this car if it does it get sold. I love this car too damn much. It's my baby. But you should know how that feels, I AM in the S2000 section. Thanks for your input, though. Your advice contains content that I have considered before.
