i got my test light and i got power to it the switch works but the bulb"S" i try dont work i even have power on both sides of the bulbs if the bulb was bad i would have power on only one side

You can still get power thru a bad bulb, it just won't light up. Try a new bulb.

 

i did not know that and it doesnt really make sense but i was just using junkyard bulbs .

i guess i have to go retail.
