26k on the swap. HMO quotes that it has 25k ish... when they get the motors in and i have honestly driven maybe a thousand miles since i got it dropped in. I drive my truck to work most days and on the weekend the family and i drive the truck where ever we need to go. the kiddo doesnt fit yet in the back. thats why im sellin it

ya, i made this account when i got my first car which was a dx crx haha. kids!

i beg to differ on the price though.
the paint was $3000
the motor swap was $4900
the car $1000 rolling chassis.

plus suspension, tires/wheels, etc.... ppl tend to over look the total cost of a build.
around my area, they all want a lambo for 2 dollars.

Price seams reasonable to me. Once some one searches for a clean hatch then does motor, suspension, wheels etc. you will be into a car way more than $6500. May as well buy this and not waste your time and money lol

 

Nice car, i understand the reason for the price but on average you usually have to give up on a bit to get it out the garage, the economy sucks and people are looking for deals. That being said, love the car and understand the pricing for sure. get that 6500 buddy!!

Tempting...Do you still have the paperwork on the motor from HMO? When you did the paint, did you do the door jams also?

 

i do still have the shipping receipt from HMO. I got the car painted last may (2011) and the door jams were sprayed to match along with hatch and trunk jams. I also had the painter spray the engine bay flat black. I purchased the motor from steve at HMO in june (2011) and the car and motor swap sat in the garage untill the first week of july.

 

Yea bump for this! Great build. And don't settle for less than what you want, I'm going through the same thing with my hatch right now. People want deals and end up getting POS cars they have to dump money into. GLWS
