I just replaced the headlamp switch in the steering column but still have no tail lamps, panel lamps, license plate lamp, side marker lights, or warning buzzers. The electrical diagrams do not show the in dash dimmer button for dash lights so I cannot tell how it works with the rest of them. What can be the problem here? Need help fast.

 

Did you check all fuses including the ones under the dash and the ones under the hood.

 

Yes, I see no blown fuses in the left kick panel, or under the hood.

 

Ground the red wire of the dimmer with the headlights.......what happens. Do you have 12v to the RED/BLK wire of the dimmer with the lights on?

 

I just found the problem. The underhood #32 15 amp fuse for lights was in the "spare" position. This happened after we cleaned out the IACV and tried to reset the ECU by pulling the fuse. The wrong fuse was pulled out and put back in the empty spot. Bone head mistake.
