Default i want to build a sohc non-vtec obd0 engine.

i'm running a d15b1 std with 4 speed.
i have an si cable tranny and d16a6 bottom end.
was wondering if i can put a d16y7 head and intake on.
can i use the y7 distrbutor or do i have to use an a6?
can i keep it obd0? do i use the pm6 ecu?
what sort of problems am i going to run into?
thanks.

Use the a6 injectors and dizzy and dpfi to mpfi. You can just stay obdo to keep it cheap but I'd recommend an adjustable cam gear for proper timing. I would just find a y8 intake mani as well since the y7 is garbage.

good call on the y8 manifold. definitely going MPFI just didn't want to mess with vtec and obd1/2.
i don't have a6 injectors. (guess i should look into getting some. what fuel rail?)
right now, ii my posession, i have a full D15b1 (running. in the car) and an a6 block w/ si tranny.
