Default Function form vs. blox?

So I was looking at the function form stage 1 and the blog shocks and springs. Anyone have experience with any of these? I'm looking to spend 550$ tops. Not looking to race just for daily driving. All replies will be helpful. Thanks in advance

Blox is just cheap Taiwanese crap. I can't speak to where F>F is made, but I've had their Type 1's on my car for a little while now, and I like them. I can't say they're better or worse than anything else, because I honestly don't know enough about dampers and springs to, but I can say that the F>F T1's just feel "right" to me.

Progress Technology offers full coilovers for $600 shipped. Best bang for your buck, quality and service wise. Check out their thread in the marketplace.

Good but NOT the way to go if you plan on slamming the car. If that is the case just get the cheap F&F.

The front has 3" to go and rear 1-1.5". Rides great and is within the recommended range from Progress. I could easily tuck tire, but obviously ride quality would suffer

I had a blox front & rear camber kit, it was nice. I never bought their springs/coilovers though.

I did have a set of F&F's and loved them, they rode great.

Yeah I found the function type 1 for 539$ shipped so I'll prolly go with them unless I can find a decent used suspension

I might not have mentioned, BOTH choices are crap. I would save up for a better suspension instead of buying twice.

I would jump on that. Are the shocks blown or something?

No they are just three or four years old. And one of the adjusting screw on the gc is a little messed up.

If the guy that has the Koni/gc stuff is the orginal owner, you should be able to get that stuff warantied threw GC.

Of the 2 you posted I would go with FF. They aren't great either, but IMO better then blox.
I'll never touch blox **** again after my endlinks. They didn't last a year.

Raceland and blox are ****. If 550 is the most you can spend you should look into a diff hobby. You can get koni/Gc new shipped for 8 and the warranties do not transfer just FYI.

Nah I'll stick with my hobby bro. I'm not in need of racing suspension. I don't track my car. Just want a softer ride

There are off the shelf rates but even still you won't know what those are unless you can get a pic of the springs and the markings on them. If they are very high you will have a harsher ride.

I'm gonna take my chances with the race lands and see how those work. Can't beat the price and if I don't like I'm sure I can sell them to someone on craigslist

I knew you would, soon as you mentioned them. Some people rave about them, update this with a review once you get them installed
