axle transmission year question
Is there a difference in length between the shafts that go into the tranny on the cv axle? From 88 to 91?
Where my axle and tranny meet their is a tiny gap It won't seal shut and it leaks puddles of trany fluid
idk the year of the trans or if it's crx si or civic si

the 88 to 91 axles are all the same as far as lengths (driver's side all the same and passenger side all the same) and have the same CV joint on the transmission end
is it the right seal? maybe you installed it incorrectly? maybe it ripped as you poked your axle in. did you grease the seal before trying to install axle?
have you tried test fitting the seal on the axle itself to see if it matches up?

yes i did all that... i got a ref ticket so i had to take my b series out and i got single cam swap but i think its a civic tranny cuz i got the 91 crx si axle and the end that goes on the transmission was smaller... the original axle i got was off a dx model it seal great but the end that goes on my hub is small..
