Wiring problems and more 88 crx ls swap
Im picking up my new ls swap tomorrow for my 88 hf crx comes with ecu, motor, tranny, engine wiring harness, axles and a bunch of misc crap the guy had.
Now what i need to know is
1) can i use the ls engine harness or will i need a crx harness.
2) i think the motor is a b18a but if it is the b18b can i make it obd1 and if yes what all would i need ect.
3) what shift linkage would i need its a ls cable tranny
4) will the knuckles in the front fit the ls axles or do i need to change that also
And also is there anything else you guys can think of that i should be changing or modifying any advice/help is greatly appriciated ty all for looking

1) You will need to use the CRX harness. The stock HF harness is fine since it's already MPFI.
2) Depends which year it is. The 90-91 B18A is OBD0, the 92-93 is OBD1. If you want to be OBD1 you need the OBD1 ECU, and distributor. If you want to use OBD1 injectors you need to do the resistor box delete and replace the OBD0 injector clips with OBD1 clips, or yo can just switch the injectors to the OBD0 crx injectors and not have to deal with the injector wiring.
3) You'll need the integra shift linkage, but it will have to be shortened.
4) I'm not sure, wait for someone smarter.

im confused. what your asking has nothing to do with your title.
use your stock harness.
makes no difference is the motor is obd0, obd1 or obd2. just make sure the ecu and
distributor match up.
ex. obd1 ecu with obd1 or obd2 distributor
obd0 ecu with obd0 distributor
when using an obd1 ecu, make sure to add in the 4 wire o2 sensor and you will also need your ecu jumper.
3. a swap shift linkage will be needed, or take your LS shift linkage and have it cut/welded accordingly to fit the car.
4. you will need to swap out your HF knuckles for DX/Si knuckles. or you can also swap in LS axles.

I'm doing the same build with my 88 si crx. I used a jdm crx b16 shift linkage w/ short shifter. Innovative or hasport has made a b-series shift linkage for our car which makes it easier instead of taking the ls shift linkage and cutting it back. also any dx or si crx knuckles will work or you can use ls knuckles.
