Why do you say it's your ecu that's bad? Because your o2 is fine?

More like get out of California. If people would actually band together we could get rid of all this nonsense. Especially on things like the seatbelt law. Why in the world is it a law for me to wear a seatbelt? If I die it's my problem and it's not a public safety issue like not using turn signals and speed limits (even though most are too slow)...

Either get the right part or don't pass your car. It's up to you.

Yeah I'll probably pic up another I paid 4 bills for this one when I first started my b16 for bar project I always had cel light but I figured that after I wired the knock sensor, vss, purge solenoid, and what not thn the cel would go away but all I hav left is code 41. ( o2 heater circuit) I hook up my Jdm p30 and no codes I also hooked up a p06 no codes and iv also done some diagnosis on 02 and all passed its the ecu

4bill seems a bit much in my perspective but when you are desperate and there happens to only be one in town, it can get pricey. I am in the same boat as you except without the possession of a P30 ecu. When or IF you get your car bar'd please let us know how it goes. Or let me know.

If you dont mind, when is your appointment at the state referee?

definitely let me know how it goes. I am under the impression that JDM engines can no longer get bar'd. but if you happen to get it done i will pursue the same goal.

Yeah I'll keep u guys posted I'm actually using a 1st gen Jdm b16 which is a lower compression then the 2nd gen and in reality is not a difference in performance but I don't think I'll hav any problems with tailpipe emissions

recheck the wiring. chances are that is the problem. i had a code 41 for couple months, turned out it was the wiring in the jumper harness that went bad. so i made my own to replace the one i was given and code went away

^turtleef, I know somebody who can fix your code 41. I have that b4 and I did all the honda service manual says but no luck. Then I bring the car to him and it fixed. He specialized in ef9. Or try my ecu if it work maybe something wrong with yours..
