will a b20b from a crv fit into a 88 prelude using the stock mounts and using the stock tranny?

 

No.


The 88 - 91 Honda Preludes are a different breed. Nothing just drops in with nothing to little modifications its all custom stuff.

The B series stuff for the civic/integra/cRV etc.. are completely different and nothing off of the those motors will work not even exhaust.
And nothing off the new Preludes will work without the swap mounts.

Completely custom mounts, but the good news is I know the person who has made a set and will be producing the kit for mass production.

As for now, the best swap for the 3rd gen Prelude is going to be the: H22/23 swap
